Alleged details of patch 6.00 of Nintendo Switch

It would add support for new command types and avatars for our profile, among other improvements.

In recent days, there has been rumoured on the internet about the imminent arrival of the firmware update 6.00 Nintendo Switch. The Japanese giant has not yet made a statement about it - and it probably will not until the patch is ready to serve the public - but some fans seem to have found a way to install the patch early. Next, we tell you your inquiries.

This update would include support for new command and control types, including all Joy-Con combinations and even consoles such as NES and SNES, coinciding with the arrival of the Nintendo Switch Online payment service. Data miners have also found a new feature for this service, the ability to save games in the cloud. The eShop would also be refined with a tool to more easily manage subscription services.

In addition to all that, patch 6.00 would add a handful of new avatars for our user profile based on ARMS and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. The latter debuted on the Nintendo hybrid console last month.
