Dragon Quest XI will still take a while to debut in Switch

Square Enix renames the game as Dragon Quest XI: Echoes or Elusive Age S. fan

The main person in charge of the Dragon Quest series has taken advantage of its passage through the Tokyo Game Show 2018 to remind the fans of this role saga that they will still have to wait a little longer to enjoy the last chapter of the franchise, the fantastic Dragon Quest XI, which days ago was released on PC and PS4.

The veteran Yuji Horii has not entered into more details about this version of Dragon Quest, indicating simply that the video game on Nintendo Switch will add the letter "S" to his name, which refers to several meanings: "Switch", "Special", "Shaberu" (speak in Japanese) and "Seiyuu" (dubbing actors).

Although recently released western version includes voices, the original in Japan was released only with texts, so it makes sense that the Japanese creative extols as something special that the video game of the hybrid console will have these improvements. Thus, the title for Nintendo Switch will be renamed in Japan Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S.
