NieR: Automata on the Switch? The director would like to hear you!

Yoko Taro invites us to make noise in the networks and "maybe" there is luck.

During E3 2018, Square Enix announced a port from NieR: Automata to Xbox One, dubbed as Become as Gods Edition. The only console left to enjoy it is Nintendo Switch, although that could be a matter of time: Yoko Taro, game director, is keen to make this version of the phenomenal NieR: Automata.

"When will we have the Switch version, Saito?" it was Taro's comment that burned the conversation of the post-E3 program of Square Enix, along with Yosuke Saito (producer) and Takahisa Taura (designer). Although his colleagues showed interest in the idea, they also evaded a direct answer to the question. At a certain moment, the identification of Taura on Twitter appeared on the screen.

"If everyone asked, maybe it will come true," Saito added. "But even if it does, it could take a couple of years from now." At the moment, NieR: Automata is available on PC and PS4, where it has been very successful. Next June 26, will also come to Xbox One.
