Cross-platform play for FIFA 19?

Gradually becoming prevalent the Cross-platform play in certain multiplayer games success as Fortnite, Epic Games, or Rocket League of Psyonix. Therefore, it is not surprising that some wonder when another of the titans of the competitive subject between users, EA Sports, will take the step. At the moment the company has acknowledged with good eyes incorporate such a function to FIFA 19.

"It's one thing we've commented internally," Matt Prior, the game's creative director, told the British portal Eurogamer, adding that one of the main problems is how some first-parties, without citing any particular company, show little inclined to such inclusion. "From the point of view of the consumer, this would create a much wider community, something really irresistible," he added without wanting to commit himself to anything seriously about cross-play in FIFA 19.

This function of multiplayer enjoyment between platforms continues to leave news for the debate in the industry. The last one had to do with Fortnite and its arrival to Nintendo Switch which had a controversy regarding Sony. For its part FIFA 19 will hit the market this coming September 28.
