Atlus focuses on the development of Shin Megami Tensei 5 [VIDEO]

Their new JRPG is scheduled to debut on the Nintendo Switch.

Although a few weeks ago Atlus asked the fans patience, because only a small team of developers worked on the project, the Japanese studio has confirmed that the desired Shin Megami Tensei 5 of Nintendo Switch has already become its top priority, devoting more resources to this JRPG.

"Now there is a solid team, and I feel we have reached that inflection point that allows us to say 'we are achieving'," said the producer of this new episode of the Shin Megami Tensei saga, Kazuyuki Yamai. After having released the last chapters of the franchise in Nintendo 3DS, the Japanese creative recognizes that it is quite a challenge to take the series once again to a desktop console.

"Of course I want there to be many demons, and I want to make the game adapt to the technical specifications of the console," says Yamai. On the devils, moreover, he recognizes that great efforts are being made for these beings to surprise the fans. "This time I think we are dedicating three times of resources to each of them compared to previous titles."

Apparently, Atlus also wants to take advantage of the particular features of the Nintendo hybrid console, such as its Portable Mode.
