These are the game candidates of the year at The Game Awards 2017

Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey or Horizon: Zero Dawn among the chosen ones. Could Zelda win?

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Horizon: Zero Dawn, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Persona 5 are the candidates to become a 2017 video game for the jury of The Game Awards. They are two games of Nintendo Switch (one of them also appeared on Wii U), two of PlayStation 4 and one of PC and Xbox One that will compete next December in Los Angeles to win the award that will prove it as the best premiere production in the current year.

Of course, it is not the only category of The Game Awards, which will hold its gala on December 7 on American soil: games like Resident Evil 7 or Wolfenstein 2 are disputed with some of the top favorites the award for the best address; What Remains of Edith Finch, Nier: Automata or Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice will fight for the best narrative and works like Cuphead and Destiny 2 will battle for the best artistic direction.
