The fight game is placed as the best seller of the week in the country.
Media Create, Japan's premier video game sales auditor, has put the total number of copies acquired by users of Pokkén Tournament DX in its debut week at 41%.
According to the demanding top of software facilitated every Wednesday by this same company, this would translate into about 53,395 copies. The number of units sold on Nintendo Switch is about 75% of those originally placed on Wii U during the same period: 70,000 video games.
In total, 179,000 copies of this edition were sold in the Asian country, which is expected to be reached and exceeded with the hybrid system given the upcoming major year-end campaigns.
