Good news for Blue Hedgehog fans. Sega has announced that the upcoming release of Sonic Forces will be accompanied by a free DLC, the "Shadow episode", which will be available to all players "as a thank you to all fans of the saga."
The Shadow episode will explore the origins of Shadow and the Infinite villain, hitherto unknown, over three additional levels. It will also allow us to control this character throughout ten stages of modern Sonic. Along with the announcement of this DLC has been published a brief playable video demonstration of it.
Sonic Forces will go on sale next November 7 on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
