The creators of Dead Cells do not want to do a second part

Its makers, Motion Twin, prefer to focus on new intellectual properties.

The video game Dead Cells has been one of the indie surprises of the year, a challenging and difficult action and adventure title, and one of the successful experiences of 2018. Now we have been able to know the opinion of its responsible studio, Motion Twin, regarding what future awaits the franchise as such.

"I do not think we do a Dead Cell 2, although we are more open to creating more content and continue opening the game to the community," said Sébastien Bénard, game designer, in an interview with the GameInformer portal.

The answer about whether they would end up doing a second part was total sincerity. "If we end up doing a Dead Cell 2, it's because we really need the money, " the creative man laughed. "We do not want to get stuck doing the same thing, so I think our next video game could be something quite different ... not a platform, nor a roguelike-type game or something like that."

The title has been in the news in recent months for the publication of the plan of DLC and future updates for him, with a series of plans by the study very well adjusted to the needs of the program.
