Available on PC as Early Access, it will debut on Switch, Xbox One and PS4 next year!
The authors of the Duke Nukem saga will premiere the frantic action video game Ion Maiden on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, along with the already announced PC, on a date still to be finalized by mid-2019. Now available on Steam as a game with Advance access, one of the great features of this first-person shooter game is that it makes use of the graphics engine of the memorable Duke Nukem 3D.
Described at the time as "the true successor of classic shooters like Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior and Blood", this title developed by Voidpoint puts us in the shoes of Shelly 'Bombshell' Harrison, an explosives expert who must fight against dangerous hordes of cybernetic creatures in seven great game scenarios. For this, of course, you will have at your disposal a wide arsenal of firearms like grenade launchers, machine guns, shotguns or revolvers.
Inspired by the great FPS of the 90s, the Ion Maiden bet on levels created by hand with multiple paths and spectacular special effects. In the case of the PC, in the absence of confirming its use in consoles, there will also be a level editor for fans to create their own game scenarios.
