This new adventure will be accompanied by a remastering of Asterix and Obelix XXL2.
Microids has announced the development of Asterix and Obelix XXL 3, a new action adventure that will continue the fun adventures that this duo of Gauls, part of the last resistance to the Roman Empire of Julius Caesar, who started more than a decade ago in PC and PS2. Precisely, in addition to this new title that will debut in 2019 on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, to liven up the wait has also announced the launch of the remastering of Asterix and Obelix XXL 2 that will go on sale this year, on a date yet to be finalized.
This "complete remastering" of the 2005 original confronts Asterix and Obelix with a series of challenges imposed by Julio César in a colourful amusement park. This adventure stands out for its extensive casting of characters and references to the series of comics on which it is based.
Now available for booking, fans can get a special Day One edition that will contain the game for all three platforms, plus a set of three figures, or in the case of Sony and Nintendo consoles, bet on a Collector Edition that will include a figure of 15cm (approx) of Asterix in addition to content yet to be announced.
