Bethesda does not plan to support mods for Skyrim on the Switch

The rest of the desktop versions do have this functionality.

Although Bethesda is one of the "third-party" companies that provide the most support to Nintendo Switch, everything points to the compatibility with mods -one of the most popular characteristics of its catalogue for a player- will not reach the version hybrid of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. At least not yet.

As director Todd Howard explains in an interview with Eurogamer, "right now [Bethesda] is not working on it" nor does it seem to fit into the short-term plans of the North American publisher. " We would love it to happen, but it's not something we want to have soon ."

For now, Skyrim has some extra features in Switch, such as compatibility with amiibo figures. Our colleague Alejandro Pascual closed the analysis of Skyrim for Switch saying that "it is a version halfway between the original and the Special Edition and, taking into account the price of each, is relegated to those players who only have one Switch to play or look for the portable character above any other priority.
