Wolfenstein: The New Order on Switch? Not for now

The Panic Button team would like to do it, but it does not seem to be in Bethesda's plans.

A few days after the release of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on Nintendo Switch, the authors of this adaptation have been asked in the Gamespot portal if there is any possibility to see the original video game, the remarkable Wolfenstein: The New Order, in the hybrid console of the Great N. And the answer is negative, although not for lack of desire on the part of the team of Panic Button, who has been interested in facing this work.

"Honestly, it's something you should talk to Bethesda, " noted the head of the development studio, Adam Creighton. "It's up to them and Nintendo to choose what would or would not work on the platform, I think it will be interesting to see how The New Colossus is received on the Nintendo Switch later this month, and then see what Bethesda does," he continues.

After confirming that next July the Panic Button team will announce a new port, of which nothing is known, the team after The New Colossus has clarified that although they are "willing to do anything" in relation to carrying the first video game of the renewed series Wolfenstein to Nintendo Switch, that he knows, Bethesda does not seem to have interested in it for now. "They may have other plans," he adds.

Recently, the Panic Button team highlighted how easy it is to start working on a platform like Nintendo Switch, noting that development times are shrinking dramatically.
