Resident Evil 2 on Nintendo Switch? Forget it!

Capcom is totally focused on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

After captivating many fans during E3 2018, the remake of Resident Evil 2 continues its way to PC, PS4 and Xbox One. With so many important ports on the way, more than one might sound weird not reach Switch, albeit to through the cloud as in Resident Evil 7. And it does not look like it's going to happen, or at least it's not what Capcom plans right now.

This was explained by Mike Lunn, company representative, in an interview with Gaming Bolt. The same publication reveals that the camera will probably be considered in first person - which has been received with some controversy in Cyberpunk 2077 - because the Resident Evil 2 remake runs on the same engine as Resident Evil 7. "We tested with the camera over the shoulder, or in the corners as in the classics, but [the development team] ended up going through this camera because it felt appropriate for this game. "

Resident Evil 2 will arrive on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on January 25, 2019. It is difficult to determine if it will be seen by Switch at some later time. Starring Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, this adventure of terror takes us to a Raccoon City invaded by the undead, to which we must face using the scarce resources that we have.
