Monster Hunter World "cannot be done" on Nintendo Switch




However, future instalments of the saga will come safely to the hybrid console.

The excellent Monster Hunter: World will not make it to the Nintendo Switch, says Capcom at a meeting with investors later picked up on Twitter. The title "cannot be done" on this machine, explain their responses, but they clarify that there will be other games specifically designed for that platform. The next to arrive? Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.

In the past, Iron Galaxy expressed its interest in carrying Monster Hunter: World to Nintendo Switch, so it is saddening to see that Capcom will miss this opportunity. However, the last episode of the Monster Hunter franchise has not yet said its last word.

While MHW announced a collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV at E3, Capcom is preparing to take the game to PC. Its launch is still a mystery, although originally it was marked for the autumn of 2018.
