In preparation for the release of Okami HD on Nintendo Switch, Capcom has released special editions of the charismatic game starring Amaterasu. Unfortunately, at the time of publishing this news, they have only been confirmed for Japan so the most hardcore fans will have to import the limited edition they prefer or wait for it to be confirmed for the West.
In addition to the normal edition of Okami HD, the Japanese public will have the option of purchasing a limited edition for 3,990 yen (about 30 euros a change) that includes an illustration of Kenichiro Yoshimura and a CD of 22 tracks. The official Capcom store also offers a collector's edition available for 24,074 yen (approximately 200 euros) which includes the game's soundtrack, a silver pendant and a hair cover for the Nintendo Switch.
The promotional images of these special editions also reveal some information about the port itself: it will allow using the touch screen in portable mode to use the brush, while when placing the console in the dock to play from the television we can keep the button R of the Joy-Con pressed to paint in the air with the characteristic knob. Okami HD arrives in Japan on August 9, but must still specify a date for the rest of the world.
