Super Smash Bros. for Switch would be co-developed by Bandai Namco

If this supposed leak is confirmed, the collaboration of the last deliveries would continue.

Similar to what happened in the Wii U and 3DS versions, the Super Smash Bros. that is on its way to Nintendo Switch could be born of a collaboration between Nintendo and Bandai Namco , as has been revealed (apparently unintentionally) in a Twitter post that has given a lot to talk about on the internet in the last hours.

Responding to a Nintendo América tweet where Smash's competitors for E3 were presented, developer Tiago Sonobe, of Brazilian origin, claimed to have worked on the game's graphics engine during his stay at Bandai Namco. Shortly after, he deleted not only the publication but also his entire Twitter account, although that has not stopped other users from making the story known through screenshots when it was still visible.
Sonobe's LinkedIn profile indicates that he can speak Japanese fluently and that he was working on Bandai Namco until 2016 after leaving Square Enix. Today, he would be at Nintendo, where he would have collaborated in the development of Super Mario Odyssey. It is clear that if true, the big N would not have planned to disclose this information about Super Smash Bros. before E3.
