Rocket League will add a cross-platform play feature feature soon

Most systems would be able to play together. One of them: not really.

After spending a lot of time studying this compatibility, the successful Rocket League is preparing to integrate cross-game functionality into the summer update. It will, however, with some limitations, and is that unfortunately, not all platforms will be compatible with each other. Specifically, PC players, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch will be able to share games indiscriminately; but the PS4 version will only have compatibility with PC.

To play with people from different platforms, it will be necessary to register a Psyonix ID that combines your nickname with a numeric code, following the format "Scarab # 7777". After that, just form a squad and play online. Obviously, it is a compatibility that has limitations, but it is still better than nothing. Nor is it the first time that Sony denies the admission of the cross game, which had already been contemplated in successful games such as Minecraft or Fortnite.

And since we are talking about Fortnite, Psyonix will also introduce in the same update a system very similar to the battle pass of the popular battle royale: the Rocket Pass . As you might expect, it is a letter with challenges and collectible rewards that is updated every several months and has free and paid versions. Is Rocket League about to once again boost the interest of its community?
