Nintendo Switch will have classic games but not Virtual Console

This legendary gaming platform has been on Wii, Wii U, and 3DS and will be replaced by Nintendo Switch Online.

Many fans had been dreaming of the moment in which the virtual console would be implemented in Nintendo Switch, however, the Japanese manufacturer has confirmed this morning that this platform will not exist in its new video game console.

"There are no plans to offer classic games under the seal virtual console as we had been doing in other Nintendo systems," said a spokesman for the Japanese company in an interview with the blog Kotaku in which it is announced that there will be a virtual console in Switch. Recall that the virtual console has been available on Wii, Wii U, and 3DS.

"Nintendo Switch Online will offer a new and fun way to experience the classic NES games that will be different from the virtual console service, thanks to improvements such as online gaming, voice chat through the Nintendo Switch Online app and the different game modes of Switch ", they reveal in the statement.

Recall that this morning we have offered a number of details of Nintendo Switch Online including its price and, in fact, the presence of a selection of NES games among which there are some already confirmed that you can find in the link.
