Outlast 3 on Nintendo Switch? Could it be possible?

Red Barrels will work before in a different project although related to the franchise.

Although the Red Barrels team confirmed some time ago that Outlast III will have to wait in favor of a spin-off that, for now, little is known, the studio responsible for this famous saga of terror has made it clear that the future Outlast III has all the ballots to premiere on Nintendo Switch where, recently, his two previous episodes were released.

"At some point, we want to create a last Outlast episode and, for now, I do not see any reason why we are not going to launch it on Nintendo Switch," said some of the studio's main creatives at Reddit. 

The different answer they have given when talking about their new project. "It is a different experience" that is still in a conception phase, so the studio cannot guarantee "with security if it finally opens or not on Nintendo Switch".
