Its leaders clarify that there is nothing to announce for now.
The excellent cooperative online proposal of Warframe could see the light on Nintendo Switch someday, according to Sheldon Carter, head of operations at Digital Extremes, in an interview with The Express UK. However, the executive notes that currently there are no formal plans to bring his successful game to the Switch.
"As with all new systems, we look for and examine all possibilities, but we have no plans to bring anything to Switch," says Carter, who also recognizes his co-workers - and himself - as hard-core switch players. "I have so many Korok seeds in Zelda, that I feel ashamed."
Digital Extremes seems to have adopted a positive perspective on Switch, and considering the growing number of technologically demanding video games that are being announced, it would not be unreasonable to think that Warframe could be the next to make the leap to the portable console.
