Nintendo Switch has already sold one million units in France

Record! It is the fastest-growing console in France.

This morning we echoed a report which showed how the console market would have grown by 23% in France during 2017, in which data it has surely had enough to do with Nintendo Switch. As it appears in a press cut, the hybrid platform has become the fastest selling console in the European country.

The information, collected by the newspaper Le Figaro, exposes how Nintendo Switch exceeded this month of February the barrier of one million units, spraying Wii U data that in four years in the market remained at 832,000 devices. The system, in addition, was one of the gifts of the head of the French, reaching a demand of 460,000 devices in the last two months of the year.


The platform of Nintendo, on the other hand, placed among the best-selling video games in France, in physical format, several of its representatives: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or Super Mario Odyssey only on the top -10, being the publisher in addition of greater success in this market.
