Japan receives a portable SNES in February


16 BIT Pocket HDMI is a console designed by Columbus Circle.

For the time being, only announced for the Japanese market, Columbus Circle has presented 16BIT Pocket HDMI, a portable console that works with cartridges of the mythical SNES, regardless of whether these belong to its Japanese version, the Super Famicom, or the console that arrived in America. (It is to confirm if the PAL cartridges work).

This new portable machine will be available in Japanese stores on February 28. Its screen is 7 inches with HD resolution and, in the Nintendo Switch line, you can connect to the TV to enjoy your games there.

16BIT Pocket HDMI is accompanied by two controls inspired by those of SNES. For now, neither the sale price nor the machine will reach the western market has been confirmed.
