Capcom does not leave the series. It has been confirmed by its producer, Hiroyuki
Kobayashi.
The massive battles of Capcom samurai in Sengoku Basara (or
Devil Kings) are very lucrative for the
Osaka company. In spite of the success
of the series in the Eastern and western territory, it takes several years
without releasing a new episode within the main saga, something that could find
a remedy soon, at least according to its
producer, Hiroyuki Kobayashi.
As has been guaranteed in the
American portal Siliconera, Capcom would be planning to confirm a new video
game of the series throughout the next year 2018, so it will remain to be alert
to future ads related to Date Masamune, Sanada Yukimura and the rest of the
characters of the series based on the historical ones of the XVI and XVII
century. The last premiere of Sengoku Basara, Legend of Sanada Yukimura,
took place in the summer of 2016.
Since we don’t know anything yet about the
versions, the Switch one might be possible.
