Injustice 2 on Nintendo Switch?

The authors of Mortal Kombat think about adapting their games to the hybrid console.

Although for now there are no specific plans, NetherRealm Studios team could end up adapting some of their video games to Nintendo Switch if we listen to the words of its top manager, veteran Ed Boon, who recognizes this is a possibility that interests him.

"It is a very different hardware architecture," says the veteran creative, one of Mortal Kombat's parents, talking about the new Nintendo console. "It is not as if you could move a PS4 game to Switch very simply, so I think we should work with an external team," Boon continues, adapting his works to the Kyoto machine.

Asked specifically about his latest work, the fantastic Injustice 2, the creator of NetherRealm Studios makes clear that the video game could be adapted to Nintendo Switch, although apparently would have to make some adjustments. "Yes, I think at the end of the day you can do almost any game ... although there are unavoidable risks. However, you know, you can create an Injustice version for Atari 2600. It would not be great, but you could do something," Boon jokes.

Assuming these difficulties, would you like to see Injustice on the Nintendo console? "From a player perspective, would it be fun to enjoy Injustice in Switch? I think it would be fun," says the creative.

"You could have tournaments, and each would carry their own system so that you can hold fully structured tournaments with fights in parallel and all that."
