Doom allows using the gyroscope for the executions on the Switch [VIDEO]

However, the most obvious application for this feature is not supported!

The imminent and curious version of the Nintendo Switch from Doom, Bethesda's infernal shooter, had mistakenly caught glimpses of console compatibility in a video. Many fans started speculating about the possibility of playing with the control by movement, although the dedicated channel Nintendo World Report has come to speak to clarify the subject: it will not serve to aim, but to carry out executions more immersive in the enemies.

Doom will miss the move-targeted feature that Splatoon 2 enjoys (and has gained many fans since) and will opt for a more traditional control scheme with levers. Executions, on the other hand, can be carried out by shaking hands and allow us to celebrate a victory sprinkled with blood and demon viscera.

Switch's relationship with most third parties is a difficult one. Almost all publishers and developers are interested in the console, but most respond with a "could arrive" when asked if their games will reach the hybrid machine. Bethesda, meanwhile, has put all the meat on the grill with specific versions of DOOM and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, taking advantage of additional console functions.

The game is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One; the version of Switch arrives on November 10.
